All these works are hand drawn originals.

The back grounds are created using the eco print technique on a fine calico material. Eco printing involves using heat and (for these works) rust to extract the tannins within the leaves to transfer rather abstract impressions onto the calico. Once this is complete I (free hand) draw onto the calico using fade proof, waterproof and permanent ink fine liner pens some of my favourite marvels of nature. Finally mounted into glass and faux wood frames ready for a new home with you.
